Creating a virtual congress experience that feels like real life

The 10th Congress of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) attracted many international healthcare professionals in 2021. This year it was held in a virtual setting for the first time.

Merck’s participation in ASPIRE consisted of various educational events, including acadeMe symposia and Meet the experts sessions, followed by a comprehensive ASPIRE report. It was communicated by a virtual congress booth and a series of informative and engaging email campaigns generating traffic to all activities. We were responsible for designing and developing all the above elements, adhering to the company’s standards.

Merck’s booth was one of the channels used to communicate with specialists during the event, and it was designed to provide them with:

  • Promotional and educational multimedia content
  • Accessible information on all of Merck’s infertility medical programs
  • Merck events during the congress

The report we designed captured highlights from ASPIRE 2021 and allowed users to browse it as a whole, navigate to a topic or session of interest or gather key highlights by watching the summary videos and the included session overviews.

In addition, all acadeMe symposia were made accessible on-demand in the Merck Digital Congress Center.
